AFTERcare
Microblading
For 6 hours after your treatment leave your brows to begin their healing process, gently wipe over your brows with cooled boiled water on a cotton pad (not saturated). Remove any lymph. Tap dry and apply a thin layer of the balm provided.
For oily skin use the balm for 24 hours only.
Drier skin types may continue to use balm for 7-14 days.

Microblading likes a not too dry, not too oily environment. Do not over balm.
If your appointment is in the PM, please wash your brows once and apply the night patches (provided) to wear overnight for 1 night only.
For the next 7 days, maintain facial hygiene (without saturation of brows) and reapply balm after washing your face or showering.
TO BE AVOIDED
During the first 7 days avoid all creams except balm provided.
All make up, increased sweating, saunas, any facial treatments and steaming.
After the first week you many begin using SPF
During the next 30 days, avoid sunbathing, sunbeds, light therapies, chemical peels, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors, laser/IPL,- this will destroy the pigment and cause burns.
Please note- use of antibiotics and hormone therapies can lead to faster pigment fading.
Lamination
For the first 24 hours avoid getting your brows excessively wet.
The products used are water resistant to allow for showering , however please avoid swimming, saunas and steam rooms.
Should your brows become wet, always set your brows back into shape when wet, this will ensure they remain lifted for longer.
TO BE AVOIDED
Make up remover or chemicals for the first 24-48 hours as this can cause lashes to curl or frizz
Make up or eye treatments for first 24 hours
Direct sunlight or sunbeds as they can fade your tint.
Self tanning products for 24 hours, these can grab around tinted area
Retin -A, AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) or exfoliate around the eye areas for
72 hours after treatment.
If any stinging or swelling occurs, apply a cold compress and contact FACE 19
Your brows are now chemically treated therefore it is essential that you apply a nourishing/Keratin serum or oil to apply daily.
Piercing
For the first 6 weeks, clean your piercing twice a day.
After 6 weeks revert to once every 2 days until fully healed
Aftercare solution is available to purchase from Face 19. Alternatively you may use a sea salt solution, made up of cooled boiled water in a cup and 2 teaspoons of sea salt
Using a cotton bud clean around the piercing with either your purchased aftercare or the sea salt solution.
Be gentle, remove any crust or discharge, being careful not to move the jewellery too much
TO BE AVOIDED
Twisting or touching the jewellery
Shampoo or other products getting into the pierced area
Changing the jewellery before 6 weeks~ if it is tender you may need to wait longer
Remiving the jewellery ~ this will result in the piercing closing
CONSIDERATIONS
Any piercings can bleed if you knock it, use a clean tissue
to apply pressure until it stops. This can take up to 10 mins
Any excessive swelling, please get in touch as we may need to increase jewellery size
